Everytime I come to Vancouver I have to get Gomae. I can not get it anywhere in Toronto, I think I have found it once, and it just wasn't good enough. Each restaurant seems to use a different sauce, I got this one near my mom's place and it is good but my favourite is a place in South Surrey.

Gomae is a Japanese spinach salad with a sesame sauce. It's a little sweet, and a lot delicious. 

After not being able to get together for many years it was amazing to catch up with Mavreen... and eat some delicious BBQ.

This bread turned out better than the last, and I was even confident enough to gift a loaf to Glen and Lukas.

This was my first attempt at Bread from the Flour Water Salt Yeast book. It turned out pretty good. Some ribboning where I didn't mix the flour enough at the beginning but you have to start somewhere.
